Dalesbridge Management
Dalesbridge is privately owned and run - no corporation or brand name, just a friendly welcoming place that is cared for by the proprietor Jon Beavan (who lives on site) and his manager and staff.
Jon who is in his mid 40's has developed the business from its inception in 1993. Jon's background is one of outdoor recreation and education. A qualified youth worker and former countryside ranger he has a wide range of outdoor instructional experience and qualifications.
He is a Duty Controller of the local cave and mountain rescue team (very useful should you need a hand!), Director of the accommodation networking group - Independent Hostels UK and sits on a variety of groups advising the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.
