Dalesbridge Bar
The Map & Compass is our functions and events bar at Dalesbridge. It is opened for groups by prior request and at busy periods in season.
With special lighting and stage to provide a perfect setting for any function - from live music to presentations and speeches. Video projection and a full sound system are available. The ideal venue for a party with a difference.
Real ales from the Timothy Taylor's, complement the range of draught beers and lagers supplied by Carlsberg. Together with a comprehensive selection of bottled beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.
A wide range of catering can be arranged for pre-booked groups. So after a walk on the fells or an expedition down a cave, we can give you a warm and welcoming atmosphere to relax in.
There are adjoining kitchen and function rooms - The Maple Room can be adapted to a wide variety of uses - for example, as a dining hall for up to 120 people, a lecture hall with seating capacity of 120 people, a classroom with large desks for 54 people, or in a boardroom fashion for 64.
A smaller room is available with the following capacities: lecture hall for 80-, classroom for 36, and dining (banqueting style) for up to 60 people. The field study room - Foxcroft - can be used for a wide range of activities - darkroom, classroom, operations room and meeting room.
