We are Ross & Aimee Wakenshaw. We own, manage and live at The Dalesbridge with our young family.

We fell in love with The Dalesbridge and took over at end of July 2018. Owning and running The Dalesbridge is a life dream for our family. After 10 years of living overseas and over 20 years of corporate desk jobs, the time came to move our family to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. We have the honour of being the next custodians of this historic beautiful premises and transforming it for generations to come.

We value our guests and so customer service is at the heart of who we are. Our ears are always open to listen to feedback, ideas and stories of adventures on the hills. We aim to help our guests in any way we can.

Aimee has a love of period buildings, the countryside, design & crafting, business & commercial and a passion for travel. Ross is passionate about maintaining these stunning buildings, making them the best they can be, he also keeps everything on track in between getting up on the hills and playing the odd game of football when he has chance.

 

Right now as a small business we wear many hats from reception, cleaning, to bar work and even making your breakfast so when you stay I'm sure you will see lots of us around .

The next few years will be a journey of learning, renovating, creating, improving and when we get chance exploring this incredible area we are lucky to call home.
